Refund and Returns Policy

At Scent Elixir, we take pride in curating high quality fragrance inspired products. To ensure fairness and clarity for both parties, we follow the guidelines of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) of Nigeria.

❌ Not Eligible for Refunds:

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or issue refunds on the following:

• Processed, opened or used perfume oils, body butters, or diffusers
• Items purchased during sales or promotional events, unless damaged or incorrect

✅ Eligibility for Refunds or Exchanges:

You may be eligible for a refund, replacement, or exchange only if:

• You received a wrong item 
• Damaged or broken in transit

Process for Reporting an Issue:

1. Kindly send a WhatsApp message to our customer care via the link in our bio
2. Report the issue within 24 hours of receiving your order
3. Include your order number, a clear photo or video of the item, and a description of the issue
4. Once verified, we will process a refund or replacement (based on stock availability)

Important Notes:

• Refunds will only be made to the original payment method (Paystack/Flutterwave)
• If item damage occurred during delivery, we will initiate a claim with the logistics provider
• Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the error was from our end

A Friendly Tip:

We always recommend purchasing sample sizes (10ml–20ml) before committing to larger bottles. That way, you can test the scent, check skin compatibility, and be sure you love it before going big!

Change & Cancellation Policy

• No changes can be made once an order is placed, our ML-based inventory system locks it in immediately. Please review your order carefully before checking out.
• Cancellations are only allowed before processing begins. Once your order has been invoiced or packed, it can no longer be cancelled.
• Approved cancellations will be refunded minus Paystack/Flutterwave fees (₦100 + 1.5% of the total amount).
• Paystack/Flutterwave refunds typically reflect within 3–10 working days, depending on your bank.
